Dubbed #CancerMtaani, the campaign aimed at conducting free cancer screening, awareness and counseling.
According to data from the Kenya Civil Registration Service, The number of Kenyans dying from cancer has been on a steady rise. Annual incidences are estimated to be 37,000 new cases with annual mortality rate of 28,000.
Guest musicians including Nazizi and Eko Dydda attended and performed at the event that was also graced by notable stakeholders like Fab & Roll Marketing Agency & Events Management, NHIF, Switch Tv, HCGCCK Cancer Centre and Help Reach Africa (HERA)
It should be noted that this is the second #CancerMtaani event to be hosted this year.
